Having trouble uploading your files? Send us a link
If you do not wish to upload your files to our servers, or if the upload fails, simply send us a share link (WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). This will serve as a substitute for the upload, and you will be able to continue with your order.
File naming conventions — please specify whether the card is single-sided or double-sided: recto-1.png, verso-1.png, recto-2.png, verso-2.png… If the reverse side is the same for all cards, name it verso-unique.png.

View the preview
Upload an initial design to view your card with the cut line, bleed and safety margin.
- Bleed
- The gang at 1,5 mm which extends all the way round the edges. It is printed and then cut: this prevents a white border from appearing if the blade deviates even slightly.
- Cutting line
- The exact point where the card is cut: the edge of your finished card, the one you’ll be holding in your hand.
- Security zone
- The 4 mm margin just inside the trim line. Ensure that all important elements — text, logos, borders — are placed within this margin, otherwise they may be trimmed off.
The preview shows the bleed, trim line and safety margins: what you see here is what will be printed. Colours, however, depend on the printing press and the paper used, and are not binding without a printed proof. Slight cutting discrepancies, of around a tenth of a millimetre, are still possible.
The proof is final in terms of layout, trim and content. A visible fault on the preview does not entitle the customer to a reprint. Colours are not binding without a hard copy proof.

Card printing for prototypes and independent games
Would you like to print a custom set of cards to test a concept, prototype a board game or create a small-run ‘ TCG ’? Our on-demand card printing service is designed for creators, independent designers, students and studios who need small print runs, quickly and at an affordable price.
- Printed in France in the Loir-et-Cher department (41)
- Poker, Oracle, Tarot, Bridge, Square or Mini card formats
- Lamination (80-micron lamination on both sides) – Matt or Glossy
- Cancellation with a refund is possible up until the point of printing. Once dispatched, products are no longer refundable or returnable. As these are so-called ‘personalised’ products, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the same way.
- Your files are checked manually before printing. This means that we may contact you if we detect a problem, and also that human error may occur during the checking of your files.
- No minimum order – you can order just one card
- Maximum 100,000 cards
When should you use Press Start Print?
This small-batch game card printing service is ideal for:

We print your cards in small runs, free from industrial constraints, so that you can quickly refine your game mechanics, rules and artistic direction.
Why choose print-on-demand for a card game?
Printing prototypes of card games helps to reduce costs, avoid overstocking and develop your project without a major commitment. It is the preferred solution for independent creators who wish to produce a card game before moving on to larger-scale production.
Once your game has been approved, you can consider moving to industrial production. In the meantime, our team will support you every step of the way.
Why choose print-on-demand for a card game?
When you want to create a card game, industrial manufacturing isn’t always suitable for the early stages of the project. It often involves high minimum order quantities, significant costs and little flexibility.
Printing card games on demand, on the other hand, allows you to produce only the number of cards required, to adjust the artwork, rules or game balance, and to quickly test new versions.
It is now the preferred solution for prototyping card games and playtesting phases.
